May 31, 2012 Danbury, CT., will be home of a new 10-hour festival to honor the Beatles on July 28. Danbury Fields Forever will feature music from Beatles tribute bands and also acts playing tribute to Paul McCartney and John lennon.
May 31, 2012 Beatles Fans Alert - A Beatles festival is coming to Connecticut this July. Among the acts featured will be several Connecticut and New York tribute bands, including The Beatles Forever Band, Fools on the Hill and MerseyBeatMania.
July 5, 2012 In 1962 Ringo Starr joined The Beatles and the world of music was changed forever. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic occasion, thousands of fans will "Come Together" for a day-long festival of Beatles music on Saturday, July 28, at Ives Concert Park, 43 Lake Avenue Ext. in Danbury, Conn.
June 12, 2012 This musical extravaganza is titled "Danbury Fields Forever," a twist on "Strawberry Fields Forever." The 10-hour festival will feature 10 bands, each representing different eras or presentation of Beatles music. Gates open at 10am and an entire day "ticket to ride" admission starts at only $15. Tickets are now on sale and there are also limited VIP packages available. Ives Concert Park is a non-profit organization.
